Through Field of Honor, the Fayetteville Dowtown Alliance has ensured all schools in Cumberland County have an American flag. as of May 2009.

The Army's Army distribtues GI Joe toys to the children of fallen soldiers at Operation Celebrate Freedom VII.

Fayetteville Cares produces Boots & Booties, the World's Largest Baby Shower. 1,000 pregnant or recently delivered moms attend the event. Local merchants donate gift items. One mom won a new car.   November of 2008.

Since 2005, the Society of Patriots has placed American flags at 10 cemetaries throughout Cumberland County on Veterans Day and Memorial Day.
